World Vision International Lesotho, through European Union Humanitarian Aid, recognizes the pressing need for disaster preparedness and resilience-building efforts in Lesotho, particularly in rural areas that are highly vulnerable to climate change-related challenges. The Strengthening and consolidating national and community capacities for effective disaster preparedness and response in Lesotho is addressing these issues and fostering community-level resilience.

The attention of World Vision has been drawn to a live television broadcast by a group of people operating under the name “World Vision Fan Club” on a satellite television station called Energy TV.

201 registered children in World Vision’s sponsorship programme, between the ages of 3 and 17 participated this year in the Gif Kit activities organized by World Vision in the area of Dibra. Children were equipped with a special gift made of cloths, socks, towels, sport suits, hair clips, etc.

The book is a collection of success stories from three countries namely Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi where Empowered World View is implemented. These are only few countries where the EWV is implemented. It was launched on 1st March 2018 in Dar es salaam.
